Managing Director, CRL

Dennis Rowland is Managing Director of Cornwall Resources Limited, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Strategic Minerals plc, which is developing the Redmoor Tungsten-Tin-Copper Project.

Commencing his career as an exploration geologist and with experience gained within the mining exploration and mining industry in Australia and across the U.K. He has developed the key skills and knowledge required to lead and develop critical minerals project development, from early-stage exploration through feasibility, planning and permitting. Dennis also has a keen interest in sustainable project development, community interaction and social licence to operate within a U.K. setting.

Exploration Manager, CRL

Rowan is an experienced exploration and resource geologist with 10+ years’ experience in the exploration and mining industry, with a particular focus on exploration geochemistry, project development and implementation of sustainable exploration projects with a strong commitment to ESG principles.

Specialising in planning and operating greenfield exploration projects, Rowan has progressed and managed exploration projects to diamond drill stages, contributed to the compilation of technical reports and has been active in a corporate environment in developing and progressing exploration projects and companies to JV stages of development.

Rowan holds a BSc in Exploration and Resource Geology from Cardiff University, an MSc in Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines and a BA in Social Sciences with Economics from the Open University, he is also an FGS and Member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and Member of the Society of Economic Geologists.

Charles Manners has worked in Investment Banking from 1985 until 2009, latterly as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Sales at Nomura International PLC.  

From 2009 to 2016, Charles was a co-founder and partner in an advisory firm, focussed on tailored structured solutions. 

Charles was also a Non-Executive Director of Asset Trust Housing Association Limited, a regulated provider of affordable shared ownership housing, and is currently a Director and Chairman of the Board of Campden Charities. 

In addition, Charles is an extensive investor, focussed primarily on natural resources , healthcare and real estate.

Mark Burnett is Executive Director of London AIM market quoted Strategic Minerals plc, and Director of Mining Investments at RAB Capital, a leading mining investor in London.

With more than a decade of corporate finance and investment experience in the extractive industries across North America, Australia, and Europe, he currently serves as a non-executive director of a US-based critical metals company and has served as Interim Chair of Giyani, an African critical metals company.
